Yeah, .gifs WORK, but the file size restriction fucking SUCKS!!!!! That file size I'm bitching about, not so much image size. I would say allow 150 x 150, or maybe a bit bigger, 'acuse I'm an avatar whore. You'll find that I change mine up every so often.
